How to use this tool
Choose a supported Classic class and level, then allocate ranks in the selected tree.
Follow the displayed tier and prerequisite requirements. Share build explicitly includes class, level and allocation in a link; other game versions are unsupported.
Talent budget = max(0, level−9); each tier requires 5 points in lower tiers; prerequisites require full rank
Worked example
0 / 51 · talent points spent
Fixed example using the settings below. Monetary examples use USD; dates and times use their stated reference values. This example stays unchanged when you edit your calculation.
Example inputs
- Classic class: Mage
- Level (Classic level-60 rules): 60
Method illustration: A level-60 Classic character has 51 talent points; a level-10 character has one.
Assumptions and limits
- Supported ruleset: level-60 Classic talent trees from pinned WoWSims classic commit 7779ebb, downloaded October 24, 2026. Nine classes; no Retail, Forever, TBC, Wrath, hero trees, runes or DPS simulation.
- Names are derived from source field IDs. This planner validates rank limits, lower-tier point gates and recorded prerequisites, not server hotfixes or optimal performance.
- Share build explicitly copies a link containing class, level and allocation. Saved builds stay in your browser. No account connection is required.
- Talent data adapted from WoWSims under MIT; full attribution is retained at /licenses/wowsims.txt. Blizzard owns game names; no game artwork or tooltips are bundled.
