How to use this tool
Enter an expression with explicit multiplication and supported functions such as sqrt, sin and log.
Choose degrees or radians before using trigonometry. Log is base 10; ln is the natural logarithm.
Parentheses/functions → powers → multiplication/division → addition/subtraction
Worked example

Fixed example using the settings below. Monetary examples use USD; dates and times use their stated reference values. This example stays unchanged when you edit your calculation.
Example inputs
- Expression: sin(30)^2 + cos(30)^2
- Angle mode: Degrees
Method illustration: sin(30)^2 + cos(30)^2 = 1 in degrees.
Assumptions and limits
- Use explicit multiplication: 2*pi, not 2pi. Log is base 10; ln is natural log. Only finite real results are supported.
- Percent is postfix division by 100. Calculations use floating-point precision.
